Today I drove for 337 miles for my training in Montgomery and then we went to Sonic. It was wonderful!I drove with Jane to Montgomery this morning, we left around 7am. The south is amazing. She told me we might hit traffic, so I asked her to let me know where we might expect it. At one point I could see a car in front of me and there were two cars behind and next to me. We didn't slow down, we were still driving at the regular speed. Jane told me that was traffic!
In Montgomery we had training on how to use Legal Files, the computer database Legal Services and other legal firms use, as well as how to perform intake interviews. That will be my job: intake. I'm ready to stop learning how to do it and to start doing the interviews, but I know that if I don't learn how to do it I will not be a very good intake interviewer.
Jane and I left around 3pm and we made it back to Mobile with time to get her car on S. Ann and bring back the rental car. Jane drove me home, so we were able to save Matt the hassle of coming to pick us up. For dinner we went to Sonic and it was wonderful, then we attempted to go out but came home and played board game instead. We are a rowdy bunch!
