This evening I babysat for John and Eleanor. I have been babysitting these kids for almost 3 1/2 years. Yesterday Susie informed me, John plans on marrying me. I asked him for more details and he told me that when I turn 22 we are getting married, I hope everyone is ready for a wedding in 3 weeks, but then he told me he wants to wait until he turns 20 to get married, which means we have almost 14 years to wait. It gets a bit complicated because Eleanor wants to marry John. She thinks that Mike and Susie, her parents, are boy/girl twins and so she feels she is supposed to marry John. We think she now understands she doesn't in fact marry her brother but someone else, someone not related. When she learned that John is planning to marry me, she asked if she could live with us, John said no. Mike told Eleanor she can live in the same town but in different houses and she was happy with that answer. Here is our engagement photo:
