Sunday morning my dad called me to let me know the Lambo boys had been in a car accident in North Carolina. He didn't know a lot of details, all he knew was an announcement had been made at St. Ann's to keep the family in our prayers.
I checked Bridget's facebook and learned Pete and the 4 boys had gotten into an accident in NC. Bridget flew to the hospital yesterday. It was a head on collision with a tree, according to the news report.
The most recent update is: Corey's surgery went well, he will be wheelchair / bed bound for 4-6 weeks but nurses report he is very chatty. Riley goes for MRI today, will know more then but is only talking to me (Bridget). Brian and Carter have been released and hailed as heroes by the EMTs and nurses on scene. Pete is still in ICU but conscious.
