SATURDAY IS A RUGBY DAY!
Today I was coach Jenni for University of South Alabama's Lady Jags rugby game against University of Alabama. Final score 52 (8 tries, 6 made kicks) to nothing. We almost scored two tries. The girls played really hard and I was really proud of them. They played the whole game with no subs and often with only 13 girls on the field, a full side is 15 on each team.
The girls had a social downtown after the game. At the same bar there were some of the men's club rugby team in Mobile. I took it upon myself to ask every single guy there to help me coach... I really hope I do not have to talk to any of them ever again.
