Today I left work a little bit early so I could babysat for John and Ella
We had a great start... Eleanor told me she doesn't like me, or my hair, or the dresses I always wear, or my glasses... she really doesn't like people who wear glasses! John leaned behind Eleanor and as she told me these things and stated he likes everything about me. Once catch, he likes Andre Vivian better, to which Ella exclaimed she likes Megan better. Don't worry I told John and Eleanor I like Andrew and Megan more than them, we were even!
They both got new bikes from santa (aka I brought them down from the attic the day before the got back from holidays spent with Mike's parents in PA). They were excited to show me there new bikes and show me how they are faster than any human... ever! We got back and had some ice cream. Eleanor got to bring Ted home from school today. Ted is the classes teddy bear, each day a different student gets to bring Ted home. Ted has a journal where each student writes about what they did with Ted. After I finished writing about the bike ride and ice cream Eleanor colored the above picture of her playing with Ted. Once we were done we skyped with Susie, she is away for work and will not be back to Mobile until tomorrow night. After they talked with mom it was time for a bath and bed time stories.
As much as these kids obsess over my friends and dislike everything about me, I know their true feelings when I put them to sleep kiss them on the forehead and hear "I love you Jenni."
