Tonight we went to dinner with Matt's parents and Mary P's mom. Mary's mom is in town for the First Light Marathon which benefits the L'Arche programs where Mary and Andrew Vivian work. The McEnery's are in town to visit Matt for the weekend. Mary's mom brought us a ton of food! Megan and I organized our food pantry to be: top shelf pasta and crackers, second shelf cooking/baking foods, third shelf snack foods, and the bottom shelf is dessert options. So much food! we won't need to go grocery shopping for another month. Matt's parents took us to Wintzell's Oyster House for dinner. We had some alligator tail (it tastes like chicken) and fried oystering and green-beans for appetizers. I had Ahi Tuna for dinner and it was delicious.
Today is the two year anniversary of Aidan's death but it is also the one year pre-iversary of Megan's wedding. This date will always be bittersweet, but after 1/7/2012 it will be sweeter.
