Today we took another Florida family vacation. This time we were able to bring friends, so the New Orleans JVs came! Honestly our proximity to Florida is the only reason they came to visit us, but we have all acknowledged that and we are okay with it.
New Orleans has 2 JV houses. One house has 6 people and the other has 5 people. The houses are right next to each other, which makes it seems like one big community of 11 people.
When we went to New Orleans last time we mostly hung out with the community of 6 people and that is the group that came to visit us this weekend.
In the picture (I stole off their facebook like a sketchy stalker) is Nate, Catherine, Hillary, Lindsay, Ali, and Brian. Both Ali and Brian are doing their second JV year. Ali was in New York City and Brian was in Boston last year. I love having another JV community we can talk with and hang out with, it's nice to have someone outside the house we can talk with, but who still understands what being a JV is all about.
