Hi,
After two trips to the ER, Eleanor was diagnosed with a kidney stone. I am with her at Mobile Infirmary (Room 2413). She is also bring treated for an infection as the result of the stone and we hope her condition will improve so that she can have surgery to remove the kidney stone tomorrow. She is an incredibly brave little girl and has shown the staff of two hospitals that she is an involved patient. When she arrived at the Infirmary this evening, she immediately asked the nurse, "What are you going to do to my body?" During a blood draw, the nurse tried to dodge her question about the needle. Eleanor responded by saying, "Are you putting a needle in my skin? Yes or no?"
We hope to be home on Saturday and will keep you updated.
We appreciate your thoughts.
Susie
