Today after work we went to Spring Hill College. We were invited to dinner with the Jesuits. Megan drove the whole group in her work mini-van. I honestly think I'd rather use more gas and take two cars than drive with her, she is crazy...but I love that about her. Megan keeps all of us on our toes and is one of the most genuine people I've ever met. I can't wait to be a "brides maid" at her wedding!Any way, dinner was great! We had an option of roasted chicken or ribs with multiple side options. As soon as we walked in we were offered a drink. I wish we had taken a picture of their fully stocked beer refrigerator. It was great! Mary P. was the only one to partake in liquor consumption, but they also had a well stocked liquor cabinet.
Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We all introduced ourselves about ten times since new people were walking in and out of the house all night. But it was really a great experience.
We also had our support meeting with Andrews, David is away. We continued to talk about how we've each developed our own spirituality. It was an expansion on Matt's spirituality night the day before. It is great to expand my own personal understanding of what I believe and why, as well as learn about my fellow housemates.
I do think this will make the future a bit more difficult, but in a totally rewarding way. Rather than sitting around watching TV or mindlessly searching the Internet, we talk about why we believe in God or how the economy is hurting our clients. I think this will effect each of us and what we look for in future roommates or significant others.
