Today all of our plans got changed around. We were planning to all do early masses and be home to leave for the beach at 11am. Instead Susie called me with 4 free tickets to the Mobile Symphony. So we split up, which I think was an awesome plan. We have been a bit too obsessed with each other. We have a ton of fun when the 7 of us are together...but we can only be together for so long. So today was great day to break up the usual group of seven.
Andrew L, Andrew V, Megan and I went to St. Joan of Arc this morning. Fr. Klepac was so happy to see us! Walking in the door I saw Kelsey Flynn's face...there was a giant CUA poster. After sitting down I began reading and learned that today's collection was for CUA parish scholarships.
As nice as it was to see and here about CUA, it made me miss being there. I missed my classmate, my roommates, my routine, my comfort, and I really missed the metro. Mobile doesn't hold any of the things I loved in DC. Mobile has amazing things and with time I will learn to love those things the way I learned to love the things in DC. It will just take some time.
