We recently got a grant to assist all client's with BP Oil Spill cases. There are no financial caps for this assistance as there is with our LSC (Legal Services Corporation) funding.
I found this sign to be fitting. It is interesting that people have become anti BP gas stations in the wake of the oil spill. Yes, BP made a mess and screwed up big time but the people being hurt are the station employees and owners. BP is not hurt when you don't buy their gas, but the client's I have set up unemployment or bankruptcy files are negatively impacted.
So please think about who exactly you are making a stand against when you make a "stand" not buying certain products.
