Today I went to Y during lunch. I am trying to figure out when to get my runs in. The mornings I don't want to get out of bed and after work it is too dark outside or too busy to figure out a trip to the Y. So this morning I went to work with Megan, which got me to work an hour early meaning I could take a longer lunch. I was able to do about 3 miles and shower before heading back to work. It was a good workout but I am happy my longer runs are going to be when it will be light later so I can do my long run after work and on the weekends.
Since we are party people here in Mobile, we are going to Mardi Gras Balls! The dress code is floor length gowns for women and ranging from white tie/tails to suits for guys. Since normal people don't just have those laying around we went to Megan's boss, Lyn's house. Kate met us, since she is my date to the Polka Dot Ball on the 24th to try on dresses. Everyone found really cute dresses, none of the options really worked on me but luckily Susie had my old prom dresses at her house so I'll be able to use those to the two events. I'd also love to try on Susie's dress to see if that will fit be because it is beautiful!
