Well since I was driving, I decided I'd rather leave early in the morning... like all the other guests that came to our party. I felt bad leaving the house before Megan or I had a chance to clean but we knew there would still be stuff for us to do when we get home Monday night. We were heading to New Orleans for a short 30 hour stay. The reason for the trip you might ask, was to see Megan's friends. Megan went to Wheeling Jesuit and each year they do a service trip to New Orleans, Megan had done these trips when she was a student. The drive was fine, although my 4 hours of sleep on my floor didn't help as the thoughts of sleeping crept into my head during the drive. I drove two of the NOLA JVs, Ali and LIndsey AND we stopped at Waffle House on our way, which brought me such excitement and joy. While we were in New Orleans we all just sat around talking with The West Wing playing in the background. Ali, Megan, and I went to Mass at Loyola New Orleans. Megan stayed with her friends that night and I stayed at the JV house.
